PINOT GRIS

Pinot Gris is a historic wine label, which has always been widely grown locally because it lends itself very well to the Aosta Valley land. As far as we are concerned, we have tried to achieve optimum processing, with the aim of extracting from Pinot Gris not so much its typical complex aromas - complexity that in the mountains is higher than in other areas – but a more exact taste, structure, fatness.

Hence the choice of a vinification focused on wood: 60% is vinified in stainless-steel tanks and 40% in barrels, followed by seven months of bâtonnage in both containers. In this way we obtain a product that is an excellent compromise between aromatic wines and complex and full-bodied wines, with freshness, good minerality, but also taste and fullness.

What should I expect while sipping a glass of Pinot Gris?

Pinot Gris is often considered trivial, but ours is different and you will notice it the first time you taste it. It is a wine that impresses you with the power and persistence of the its taste, as well as a wine label that best expresses all the aromatic characteristics of the proud land from which it comes.
